D3 lubricant change - what and when? |
|
Ok that time again, can anyone answer the following regards the OEMLR lubricant changes (might help others):
1) Front & Rear Diffs - Miles and/or Time (?)
2) Transfer Box - Miles and/or time Time (?)
3) Autobox/Pan Filter - 50-70k miles or 7 years
4) Power Steering Fluid - Miles and/or Time (?)
5) Brake fluid - 3 years and/or Miles (?)
IF YOU CAN THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE (EXCEPT ENGINE OIL), I'LL ADD IN ON

manual & auto transmission is 50-70k, 7 years according to the manufacturer's bulletin Feb 2013 BTW, but as you can see, confusion all round then....so looking for the ACTUAL changes coz no one will run diff oil for 10 years

Yes it is mate
IMO 75k is plenty long enough and it never hurts to change them earlier
