Just had a call offering me a new 07MY HSE at a very nice price for delivery at the end of March. Mrs JMC would get my 06MY SE and I'd get the new (Rimini Red) one. Only concern is I still haven't heard if the TC can be applied properly to the 07 MY yet.......
I'm still going to have a Mantec plate left over from the 2nd group buy, so I wonder if I should get a new car to fit it on to...... What do you think??

Alastair Milne (Turbochip) has confirmed to me that you can re-map the 07 models as per normal.i.e just plug in the laptop. You can tell I'm highly technical

07MY's are a nicely matured D3 IMO, much more stable in every respect and includes many of the improvements and features 'missing' from the 05/6 MY's - just don't forget to spec. the active rear differential

I've heard some excuses before but "I've got a spare Mantec plate, so I'll have to buy a D3 to fit it to" takes the biscuit!

Ask yourself......can you afford to get rid of the Volvo 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

If Gail doesn't want to part with the Volvo, and you do change, I wonder if I can presuade K to take a 1 owner D3 ex-commercial?
Perhaps not, but it might be worth a try.... Renny Thomson
