Stratstone Bury - First Service - Very Happy
Just got my car back from its first 15000 mile service from Stratstone in Bury and i would like to say how pleased i am.
I initialy phoned round about 8 dealers and while they were not the cheapest , a quick PM to Mike Jeffs to ask about a price match (even better as Mike is in sales and took the time to arrange the service side of things)
Got a phone call back from the service department asking when i would like to book it in at the price i had requested.Couldn't have been easier.
Also while i was there Mike came out and had a chat about this forum.
Got my front wipers changed in with the service (don't know if thats standard ) , reprogrammed the seat module as the rear dip mirrors have not gone back a few times and asked them to have a look at the clutch as it dosen't feel like it used to.Its quite hard to get in reverse sometimes.
They have said they are going to get me a complete new clutch assembly ordered and they have booked me for a couple of weeks time (my choice due to work commitments) all under warranty.
So all in all im very happy.Big thanks again to Mike for your help, and a big thanks to Kath who delt with me in a very proffessional , happy and very knowledgable manner .
Top Marks for Stratstone Bury ..see you in a few months for my next service (at a good price i hope )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

GS Stockport did that to me without asking (and they didn't need changing either) and tried to charge me 20 odd quid for the pleasure - needless to say I didn't paySteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Hi Adrian
Many thanks for your post. I really appreciate your positive comments about our service.
We are always more than willing to match any price in the market and appreciate any business that we can obtain through price matching.
I am glad you feel Cath gave you a preofessional and courtious service and I look forward to having a coffee with you when you bring your car in for the clutch in a couple of weeks.
As I mentioned on Friday, I am looking to arrange a "night in" at the dealership, maybe a curry tasting night or something along those lines with a couple of the Technicians and a Master Technician here to answer any questions or to give general advice to forum members.
Your thoughts on what you would all like would be appreciated!
