What sort of spanners did you use to release the pipe between the two hoses to ease up for space to get the little one in.
I couldn't get any of my stuff on the end of the 10mm nuts!!!!! Reckon I could just ease off the 8mm one at a push!

It's either a 10mm or 8mm, I can't remember but it's fairly obvious which one fits. There isn't much room to manoeuvre so just take your time and be patient. One flat at a time.

I'm just starting out on this job with the intention of doing the big hose tonight.
[Edit] Sorry, to make it clear, I am fitting the Allisport silicone hoses [/Edit]
Is it necessary to re-use / refit the "socks" that protect the elbows on the original hose? Looking at robbo770's photos in the initial post he seems to have moved at least the lower one over.
Advice much appreciated.2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

So fitted the big hose. Now on the second middle size hose. I can't fit the top connection. It just won't fit. Tried oil to lubricate it. Bottom fits easily. Tried fitting top first and bottom first. But can't get it in the metal pipe. Any tips would be great fully received.
Thanks

Warm the hose up in hot water first at the end by only about an inch

Brilliant thank you. I will try that. Ok going to ask a silly question. Does it matter if there is moisture in the pipes? What flows through the IC. My understanding is air from the turbo which is cooler to make it more dense allowing more air in a smaller volume and thus giving more bang. and if so why does oil get in and degrade the pipes?
Thanks

Personally because it's fit and forget and I had a split in the big hose. But that's also why I was asking the question. Sorry if it's too basic. D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.
