D3 driving lamps to D4
Following our successfull mounting of the D3 a-bar to D4 it is now the time to wire the installed D3 spots.
1. engine bay loom - the connector is at the same place under the main fuse box - checked.
2. driving lamps dashboard switch illumination - first problem. As the headlights switch is completely different and so is its connector, we need to cut into the loom (rather then using the supplied splitter loom). Any ideas which wires?

3. Passenger (we are talking LHD here) footwell connector for the driving lamps switching - there are two grey connectors instead of one green (D3). Any ideas where to insert the supplied black wire pin?

To all that want to try the same thing - using D3 spots on D4 - we have finally managed (after more than a year) to wire the lights. Comparing the D3 and D4 spots fitting guide, we have found they match at the point where you insert the green wire pin into the "C0580" connector. This one is located at the passenger's footwell, behind the glove box (LHD).
The spots are then controlled the usual way together with the high beam. The only weird thing is when you turn them on with high beam on, they stay on even when you switch to low beam. But when turned on while you on th elow beam, then they work correctly, switching on and off together with the high beam.
(Please not you need to modify the extra pin a little bit to fit)D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto
