Hi all,
My friend has a problem with his D3, it’s got a canbus error where it does the hazard lights and locking unlocking, narrowed it down to the instrument cluster, can this be swapped with a used cluster from similar aged car and use of an IID tool to reprogram it to work, ie immobiliser And sync? I understand that the mileage won’t be carried over etc but don’t think he’s to worried about that as he will write down both Mileage’s and do it like that?

Yes but try and get a cluster with lower mileage than he has on his as it will alter up to his original mileage but not down and search on here there is quite a bit involved  Discovery 3 se gone
