Not having hands small enough to fit behind the bumper ..,I took the rear bumper off

The wires will route without taking it off, I did that bit first before hitting the same problem you have
i did think of using a cable tie for the plug and just forgetting the plastic jobbie too Cheers Ian

Been towing my trailer without them enabled for the last few months.
All that happens is that it beeps and you switch it off manually if you want.
Although mine is just back from its 2nd year service and I got them enabled today (dealer forgot to do it when they put the tow electrics in).
And got new pads and brakes under warranty, and EPB done too (shoes covered but had to pay for pads though).
Seems to be a lot nippier too, especially pulling out of junctions

Hi Dave, let is know how it goes with the wiring.. Believe it or not I have to do the same job in two weeks time ..
Have you fitted your rear camera yet?.
