What is the best choice of GIS or topo-map software for use on a laptop with a GPS antenna? TDV6 (Belgian) HSE '06

Depends on where you want available mapping for...
Touratech(TTQV) or Fugawi are good 'global' systems, Garmin mapping is pretty shallow and expensive
