D3 Windscreen Washer Bottle Leak
My D3 is only 2 months old but I had noticed water under the car on the passenger side near the front wheel. A quick test (filling the bottle and seeing its level go down) showed that it was definately coming from the windscreen washer bottle system.
Its going into Alto LR at Artarmon on Tuesday for a replacement. Apparently they have to remove the front bumper to get at it. (About 4 hours labour).
Has this been a common problem? 2017 Range Rover Sport TDV6 L494 Fuji White

Re: D3 Windscreen Washer Bottle Leak
Mine is less than 3 months old, and it's only getting a new bottle next week. It was leaking when I took delivery!

I put some aluminium fly mesh over the air holes in the bash plate for the ARB bar on mine. When I took the plate off I noticed the water bottle had been rubbing on the front bar. Put some 'kneed-it' between bar and bottle.
I thought it was only because of the Arb bar that this might happen.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Yes they do!
Four hours is how long it took ME to remove and refit my bumper (first and last time hopefully) - one hopes LR dealer mechanics can do it quicker than that!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

When ARB fitted my Bull Bar they butchered my washer bottle. They busted the plastic mounts and wedged it in somehow and the metal guard that covers it underneath actually now supports it.
I'm not impressed with their work in this area.
The only consolation is that you can get to the washer bottle very easily with the Bull Bar.

Well car went into Alto Landrover for bottle replacement at 0730 yesterday and was back ready for pickup at 1200 same day. They gave me a Corolla free of charge while it was in there. No leaks!2017 Range Rover Sport TDV6 L494 Fuji White

Barry,
I have found Alto pretty good generally but when booking they want you to go through the switch, I know Chris has left. Is there anyone else in the office now? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
