Emergency Parking Brake Service Mode Issues

Hi everyone I am new to this forum so please bear with me. First I don't even know if I am in the correct area.
I have a USA - 2011 Range Rover Sport HSE Lux -- I am in the process of changing the rear brake pads and rotors. I can't seem to get the EPB into the service mode. I think my issue is with the ignition because this vehicle has a keyless ignition. I have searched the various forums for the correct process but I can't find anything that address my model year or keyless entry/ starting. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also the reason I believe the vehicle is not in service mode is because I can't turn the "Knurled adjustment ratchet behind the hole in the rear disk.

Had trouble turning my adjuster, had to remove the disk/rotor to get to the adjuster and then get it in a vice to free off the toothed part (Applied some heat and gave it a wack with hammer). After it was free put the brakes all back together and set up as per instruction for on here which sorted out my problem with the EPB fault.
