D4 Low Fuel Warning ??
Filled the car up at weekend and now it is showing the low fuel warning and range zero ?? Definately got at least three quarters of a tank !
Any ideas Gents or is it a trip to the stealers ??
Any help appreciated

I know the feeling mine seams to be putting the light on earlier than it used to put 60 litres in it the other day sure it was around 70 plus at least it keeps under £100

Took it to LR reckon its a software issue will update and go from there !
Update not covered by the LR extended warranty

Dear Sharky,
I had the same issue on my LD4. there are 2 sensing units in your tank, which causes the indication drop. Few months ago, I got modified units installed.
Note: The engine is dry-run protected. E.g. if the computer notice that the tank is almost empty, It wil shortly give an engine stall (short loss of power). This will occure if your drive too long on your reserve fuel.
I drove a week with an intermittend faulty system and thus every now and then zero ind. The computer assumed that the tank was empty and stalled the engine. When the indication went normal again, all was fine. In that week they installed two new sending units in my tank (modified type) everything worked normal again.

Hiya DD4 yes thanks for that, the update that they did last week didn't work (didn't think it would just got a new look dash lay out !)
So it went back into the dealers this week and had the 2 fuel senders in the tank replaced under the extended warranty, and so far no problems since
