sad day today my tdv6 failed to start this morning man from support came out said he had never been to a none starter befor (great) so he phoned his mates who said it had run out of derv or had petrol put in it (not the case) ends up pluging it in to show no faults (great) so i pop in home and i here it start up ??
ask what was wrong and he said he could not put his finger on it some sort of modular some where but he didnt know where .
he just jumped in his tdv6 and said see how you go !
needs a service next week so any back up would be great
thanks lee
The one and only time mine did that the starter motor had died though it didn't work again until it was replaced, for a week or two prior to it going it did take a few extra turns before it started the engine, don't know if you've noticed the same at all?The End

Had this problem twice before the software upgrade. My service manager said it was known about but because absolutely dead there were no error codes. Never happened since so felt software rather than hardware.

Name and Shame!!
Reading back, pre-heater not working, they could have meant glow plugs, which would have made starting harder.
Pressing the button too hard Thats a cracker
I reckon they have charged your battery up to get rid of HDC faults.
