Can get icy cold.
And about 4 cans of Stella seems to be a good guide.
Just seen DiscoDunc's reply contradicting mine.

The trick is, before a long journey, to chill the goodies overnight then transfer to your cubby fridge when you leave.
Thus upon arrival you have very cold beers to ease into the evening.
Spiffing!!

The cool box seem a waste of space and money to me. I have one in my DIsco but here is why I hate it:
1) It takes away valueable storage where I need it - next to my seat.
2) IT actually holds very little
3) THere is a power outlet in the boot and a smart coolbox does a better job for much less money AND you can bring it with you!

I very rarely use my cool box. Nice to have it though and CDs fit perfectly in to it. I know, I'm very "retro" still using CD's.

I like it for cans of energy drink and little bottles of water on a journey. Otherwise it is turned off and used as storage.
Best of both worlds
