D4 XS - SatNav, Music ...Information center |
|
Hi all.
In the HSE model the center information centre has a Off-Road information display/setting.
Does anyone know (or has done it) if the XS has all the bits for this off-road info if so I presume it might just be an software issue.
Can anyone help with either is it possible (if so how) or is not impossible? Cheers
Andrew

You will need to find somebody with a Faultmate to enable it for you. PM Wiggs as he gets around a bit so you may be able to meet up with him Cheers Ian

What other bits can be done?
I don't think timed climate or voice control would be much interest to me.

Hope voice control is better than iPhone's "Siri" I don't think she was trained to understand Northern Irish!!
Surely timed climate is sore on diesel over time? Also I can't help worrying about something igniting?

tend to agree with many of the comments. All I am really interested in is the 4x4 information centre. The rest I can manage without Cheers

You can still access the info screen on your XS by starting in the mode below, bit of a faf but it stays on until you turn the car off.
Press the "start" button without your foot on the brake
Select a terrain mode
select the return key on the touchscreen (bottom right button)
Press the "start" button againn with your foot on the brake as normal to start the engine.
You will then have the full 4 x 4 info screen and help screens as well.
