Hello
I have a similar problem after replacing my original stereo with a Pioneer Double Din but not getting any power. Can you please advise how you fixed the problem.
Kind regards

Hi, I just noticed that fuse F28 is 30amps. Do these piggybacks come in difference amp sizes or there is one standard size because when I was looking for one on ebay it seems all are marked as up to 10amps.
Thanks

Notice your patch lead, has red and yellow wires. Look where they plug into the LandRover connector. One of them doesn't connect to anything does it?
Connect this one to the wire

The yellow one will be empty on yours...
That's the one.

Hi
I just found out that F28 fuse located in the Passenger Compartment is a 5 Amp fuse. Could this be the correct fuse because the instructions on my piggyback states that both fuses must be of the same amp rating.
Kind regards

Look in the car manual or glovebox cover.
What should F28 value be ?
The suppliers state the same value should be used for both so you don't have to worry which way it is inserted. (I did wonder how they dealt with this. )
In your case 5A or 10A would be ok for both for you. Just so long as you aren't going to use the power sockets for anything heavy duty

Hi
Yes I did check in the manual and slot F28 is blank, there is nothing on it.
See attached copy of the owner's manual

The poster who suggested using the piggy back fuse and F28 drives a 2009 car.
By the looks of it, its an orange 5A
Do you have a voltage tester to see if that fuse goes live when the ignition is on the radio position ?
Check it and use if suitable.
On my old wiring diagrams it looks like an Iginiton II (dash lights on) position.
