| Patriot rack and awning on a D4 |

I have a patriot 2m rack which is off my defender. Seams costly to get the fitting kit from patriot for it to fit the D4. I don't have the luggage/roof rails on the D4 so i would need buy them to use LR/thule roof bars, which means I can carry my oztent and roof box. But I want it to be able to take an awning or foxwing....
Trying to work out best cost wise and most practical.
What's the suggestions also in respect to an awning and carry options.
