Loss of enginepower

Last week I suddenly lost engine power at 80km/hrs (it went dead) Several warnings came up on the display; engine fault, transmission fault, lowering suspension- no power steering or ABS brakes.
This was a cold day -20 C, the symptoms match with other topics mentioned on this site, however the combination with a dead engine is new to me.
I conducted ctrl-alt-del, the engine started and everything appeared to be ok for another 1-2 km, then it happened again. After 3 more repetitions I called the tow truck service in Sad and sent it to the dealer.
The same day the dealer received another identical model with the same problem(MY2006 TdV6HSE).
According to the dealer this is an unknown combination (at least for LR Norway and Sweden), the problem should in theory be taken care of by the enhancement update, however this has already been done to my vehicle.
The problem (copy of the ECU setup) has been sent to the manufactorer for a solution.

The "go everywhere" statement doesnt include -20 C Confused

That other car was mine. Engine cut doing 90 kmt south of Koppang. Realized the weight of the car trying to pull over without servosteering... Restarted the car and drove 1-2 km, then cut again. Heard they suspected the temperature (-20C). Didnt have any problems last winter though.

This has happened to mine about 3-4 times. I'm really Censored off with the poor reliability of this vehicle. Happens mostly in cold weather (winter). Dealer can't find the problem, great! It's been in service for over 70 days in the past 8 months. LR service has been totally un helpfull, including the dealer owner. I'm trading mine in at the next opportunity.

Spoke to the dealer today, LR has come up with a new fix. It is suppose to deal with tempratures down to -20 C Laughing The DVD is to be distributed these days.

Wonder what happens when the temperature hits -30 C Shocked
