In a state of excitement..... I should be picking up "Weggie" tomorrow at about 5:30-6:00pm. My first Disco and by far the most I've ever spent on a car and, well I'm grinning to the point that it hurts.
Granted, the way my solicitors have handled the sale of the house that's funding this, there's a chance the money won't reach my account in time and I will end up collecting it on Friday..... but let's be positive I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I thought you were a seasoned D3er!
Well I'm sure a sleepless night will be coming forth, yoiu'll have to while away your time looking through all of the galleries and of course out of the window at whatever location you're going to park 'Weggie' in.
Still can't get used to a car called 'weggie' you'll have to paint it light blue with some dark blue y shaped piping round the edge......
Seriously though, you're a lucky , I've got all February to go!

Hope it all goes well
The last 6 hours really was a real grind for me so I drove past the dealers and was gutted when I could not see it. ...........The little tinkers had only polished it and put it inside under the spots
Take your camera, I forgot mine, It will never be that clean and shiny again if the spirit of the vehicle is utilised 8)
Excellent colour choice and spec my man

I was too impatient and forced the dealer to have it ready in 4 days not 10!
My money had to be cleared (£15) and a draft cheque (£10) sorted to pay in time.

Money had to be somewhere to pay the stealer, that was the easiest place to have it, still get some interest & pay without charges. Before anyone asks to marry me, I do not have that sort of dosh in my current account routinely!
Yup, I'm doing the same but have to wait until the money has hit my bank account, for obvious reasons! Looking forward to opening my bank statement in a couple of weeks to see "Visa Debit - £31,950" and still having a positive balance at the end! 8)
As mentioned above, it all hinges on my solicitor receiving the funds early enough today to do an onward transfer to my bank account. Given her performance to date I confess I'm sweating. Still, if it has to be Friday morning
Slept like a baby last night..... screaming and waking up every 90 minutes. And I'm loving the idea of a contrasting "Y" being painted on the car, no really I am One modification I will be making this evening will be to apply the Disco3 stickers I have ready and waiting. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Word to the wise, check your bank's transaction limit and if you'll be above it, make sure they have a note on your account that you'll be spending that sort of dosh. Just makes things easier if your transaction gets rejected & you have to phone from the stealers.

if you were like me then everyone around you will be getting a little annoyed right now with the pacing and over cheerfullness. remember to be cool when collecting and not in too much of a hurry to get her home and check everything. enjoy the best ride home above all the saps
