Hub bearings
My 55 plate disco passed the mot last week with no advisories. Had the 105k services today and there were some advisories.
Wear/noise in OSF hub bearing.
Slight wear in NSF hub bearing.
They said it wasn't critical and just an advisory.
Is it worth doing them straight away or is there anything I can do to prolong the life.
How much should I be looking to pay to replace one. And both.
Thanks

If there's no noticeable noise/rumbling from the bearings in normal driving, then I would suggest it's not urgent - yet, however once the noise starts they can become urgent fairly quickly.
The only way to not wear them out is to not drive the car, the sealed construction means there's no possibility to grease them.
They come as a complete hub assembly with the bearings fixed in place, you can expect to pay around 100 quid each for them, they are not that difficult to replace, I did both mine last year, one almost fell out once the bolts were undone, the other one needed a bit more persuasion Clive

" .. Bearings next month. Maybe "
Should be OK for a month or so, depending on mileage, just keep listening out for the signs of deterioration.Clive
