Hi
Looking at buying a disco 3 in the next few months but wondered if there was a buying guide or does anyone have a list of what I should lookout for.
Thanks

Do a search on here and you'll find loads of answers to that. Really depends how much tyre kicking you like to do. The main thing to look for would be proper service history.

Hi, wouldn't mind something like that! If my search is anything to go by, compressor faults - noisy or broken brackets, rear electric handbrake noise, squeaking handbrake shoes, has cambelt service been done, EGR valves, body damage due to off road, ball joint wear, suspension bush wear, steering box wear, reverse sensors faults, discs n pads wear, electrics generally, bootlid catch seizes or cable snaps, blocked sunroof drains. Oh and suspension sensors, something about steering column and ride height??? Removeable tow bar locks seize, costs about £10 to get a new lock and not very long to change, not much of a lock really!! Back of front seats trim get pulled out by kids feet and rear moveable vents get same treatment!
I am sure that there are more things to look for, personally I am looking for one that had FSH, not necessarily LR but independent, with bills for most of these done recently, that way it shouldn't need too much doing anytime soon!
Have I missed much??

Depending on age of vehicle 105k/7yr service is expensive so make sure it's done.
