Car Paint Protection
I have ordered my new Disco 4 and added paint protection.
Does PTFE (Teflon) paint protection work and is it true that you do not have to polish your car for 4 years or so?
Anyone have paint protection and was it worth it?

Personally, unless you got it for free I would have saved me money and got some decent polishing kit.
Been there, done it - for me it was a waste of money but hey, each to his own.

cancel the paint protection biggest scam going
go have a look on detailing world forum some very knoledgable sorts on there
as far as i understand if used as an avarage daily driver ther is no product available that will last more than 6-9 months
if you really want to keep it looking at its best use the £400 or so that the dealer is charging for this stuff and get a pro valeter to prepare and protect your car and show you how to keep it in as good a condition as he has got it
you will be amased by what a proper valeter can do to a new car to make it look even betterClub original turbo

Snake oil so keep the money and treat yourself to a full valet every so often if you like the clean look.

I'm with maple cottage on this one, but it does depend on the condition of the car when it was put on and who put it on. Had it put on the D3 but managed to get me money back.

agree with all above having owned, polished and sold many many high end cars
save your dosh and get it professionally buffed waxed and sealed once a year or more if its a dark colour to remove any swirls, then just wash and polish it yourself with a good wax like dodo juice
