I need to take off the mirror glass from damaged housing. Is this possible, if so how do I do it?

The mirror hooks over two lips at the top and has two clips at the bottom
Only ever put one on after the garage failed to fit it properly. try twisting back and forth whilst lightly pulling At the Bolton of the glass
Good luck
