Cold Start Problem

Guys,

2 mornings in the last week mine has done this.

Starts up, runs v.rough but ticks over. Press the gas, nothing happens. Wait. Still no power. BAttery Warning light flickering on the dash. (not seen this reported in other strings)

Switch it off. Start it up again and voila - just like nothing had ever happened?

Dealer could find nothing on Diagnostic and could not replicate it overnight,

Any advice much appreciated!

THanks

Rich

Look here.

Seems to be a low charge problem.

Thats it exaclty - both times I had cheated the FBH on to toast the car for the school run (just to keep me in with our GP friends) and thats when it happened.

I only do about 40 miles a day mostly - always with lights on and stereo set to "stadiun concert" volume level - but had a good run this weekend so if it continues, I will be asking about the battery under warranty.

Thanks D.Dad. Bow down

Mine cranked slow this morning, then gave a a HDC Not available error followed by a Terrain Response Off message, then all was normal.

It did a longish run on Wednesday, to and from office on Thursday & Friday ( 2 x 7 miles 8 hours apart), not driven on Saturday.

It does not take much to deplete the charge on the battery. A good run needed.
