Although the tow pack is fitted we only used it once to tow my Caterham on its trailor (also both now sold ).
The car has never been off road. Its in excellent condition throughout, has never required any warranty attention and is probably the best vehicle we have ever owned. Its just bigger than we now need so its back to a five seat estate.
I am fastidious about my cars and it has been lovingly cared for with regular hand washing (two bucket method of course , claying, polishing, sealing, waxing (Dodo) etc).
Please send me a PM if interested as I would rather it go to a forum member than in part ex to a dealer.
Now Reduced to £36,500 ono as car goes to the dealer at month end otherwise
Thanks for looking.
Paul
NOW SOLD

BTTT
Having seen all the BMW Touring's / Audi Avants stuck in the recent snow as we drive on by in the comfort of the D4 in the knowledge nothing is likely to stop us getting about, it has made me think we might not be doing the right thing
New car is now at the dealers and undergoing PDI so its getting close to crunch time.
However, she is still for sale as we have the Defender to rely on too - pictures in my gallery of the D4 if its of interest.

Decided on a Merc E250CDI. Its about to get the facelift so we secured a terrific deal on a new Sport with options. I don't like the front of the facelift car anyway so that worked out well.
Have had the BMW and Audi variants before so time now for something different, It obviously won't do what the D4 can but thats really why we got a Defender (bought off a forum member on Defender2) so we can still stay mobile when the Merc is likely to get stuck!
However, It will still carry two dogs with great ease when 4 or 5 up & when on our holidays. The 'official' combined MPG is 55 and real world is supposed to be mid to high 40's - so a fair jump up from the Disco which was a consideration.

Thanks Paul and Mrs Vizsla for your hospitality and patience with the rail network! Great drive home via Oxford, loving the car even more than I thought I would and as a bonus I got an indicated 30.3 mpg overall for the journey!
Thanks again, it's a stunning car and with a spec I could have chosen myself!
