Parking sensor volume
Hello,
Does anyone know how to turn the volume down of the parking sensor "beeps". Mine are so loud that they can be heard inside my house!

Sat nav voice volume can be adjusted whilst she is speaking via stereo volume control, may be worth trying the same with parking sensors, get them beeping and adjust stereo volume switch, may or may not work.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

The parking sensor "beeps" come from separate speakers for front & rear and operate entirely independently of the cars sound system, there's no volume adjustment that I know of.Clive

It does make you wonder if there is a way of adjusting the volume because I find mine a little too quite and have to turn the radio or cd down in order to hear them properly. But I have looked through the manual and there's no mention of it that I can find.

Anyone know where the rear beeper is?
I need to put a switch in mine... GS model means no dashboard switch and towing around (on private land) without a lightboard equals permanent noise. Would prefer a simple switch in the boot to disable...
OR does anyone know if the wiring is behind the dashboard, just not the switch on the dashboard?
One simple way of reducing the volume would be to find the beeper and put some cloth/foam over it (taped on)... will reduce volume if you experiment.

On D4 2013MY
Press settings hard button - then choose "System" soft key , followed by "Volume Preset" soft key this give you the choice to alter the Info,Parking Aid, Phone, Navigation and Voice volumes

On my Landmark I can adjust the volume, using the stereo volume control, while they are actually beeping.
