Rear wheel does its own thing

So I've heard this is a known problem for D3's that go offroad..

just a warning to others, to check the bolts of the rear rods that keep the rear wheels in place...
(don't know how they're called, but 2 metal rods going from the center of the car to the baring carrier)

better safe than sorry, mine broke on normal road @ 5mph

It has been documented on here a few times. Both times it was attributed to the bolt having been overtightened, and the bolt fractures

ive never had it happen, very uncommon occurance, but there was a thread here a few years ago from one of the guys in the states. I think it depends how much you bash the wheels around. drive slower off road and it will probably never be experienced

i'm no fast offroad driver, not with the disco, and only go fast when in trials with appropriate toys...

D3 is as slow as possible... and sometimes get stuck..

indeed, the bolt just broke in the housing, but the worst part is, on a LEVEL road Rolling Eyes
