SOLD: Faultmate Nano MSV-2 SV
Just nipping across (with permission) from the RRS site.
I've parted company with Land Rovers for a while and no longer need my Faultmate Nano.
I had it on a single vehicle licence for the Range Rover Sport 05-09, and I believe BBS will adapt it to a similar vehicle type for a €50 admin fee.
It is the kit which includes,
MSV-2 Nano with VCI (HW016)
VCI 2 OBDII (CAN Network) Lead (LD020)
Modem Lead (LD032)
&
The BBS Approved USB to RS232 Adapter (AC002)
I'm looking for £500.

In response to a few Pm queries I've had regarding this, here's some background on how the transfer and reactivation works:-
What I have to sell is all the hardware required to hook yourself up to the car via a computer.
ie.
The Faultmate itself
The OBD lead (from the car to the Faultmate)
The a serial to usb lead to connect the Faultmate to a computer (if as with me your computer has no serial port)
I'll include the software install CD also but as I purchased this just under 18months ago there has been a newer version available on the Blackbox Soultions Support website.
These are all genuine BBS parts bought by myself as a complete Single Vehicle Kit.
My activation codes are only licensed to my VIN (a 2006 Range Rover Sport).
To enable this for another car (I'll assume a Disco 3) the procedure is:-
1) when I sell the unit I email a transfer of ownership to BBS. (I could fwd this also to the new owner)
2) the new owner then registers with BBS and completes a registration form
3) BBS require a fee to activate the software for a new VIN number.
If you are transferring from a 2005-2009 RRS to a DISCO 3 then, as these are a similar vehicle then the fee would be €50, if it was to a Disco 4 then i'd say the fee would be 50% off the full software price.
