Clarkson borrowed an RAF Lightning (serial XM172) for his garden, but only in the name of making one of his Christmas DVDs... 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)
2005 D3 S 10-12 (gone and missed)

Oh Hairy..
Wouldn´t mind having a J35 Draken in my garden,
an absolutely brilliant fighter..
Brings back memories from the past, used to work with them,
and had an airfield packed with them close by, so You couldn´t
miss the noise..
I´m not absolutely sure if there is any "Draken" still flyable here in Sweden,
I know there is a Vampire (J28), and an old "Tunnan" (the flying Barrel, J29) still flying.
Wonder where he takes off from though..
Closest airfield seems to be Humberside international, and there
seems to be an old "revamped" airfield near Binbrook..
Must check the google again...
