I have a cunning plan for a new thread,
I'm sure you will all tell me if its shoite or if its been done before ?
Firstly, I will try and explain as best as I can the whys and where fores, it involves the whole forum so open to all participants but it is a geographical themed topic and involves places, land mass, structures, events, sign posts, statues in fact most physical items.
It involves a D3 or D4 to be pictured with a "thing"
The thread relies on forum members to be a to gain access to the thing
It can be up close or in the distance
The person who posts said pic of their Disco with the thing gets to choose the next thing and we await said picture of thing inc Disco ?
Well is it shoite ?
Common sense prevails......... We can't tip up at number 10 requesting access to the thing because we will probably get shot, or get accused of something we didn't do and loose our jobs.....
I'm sure you get the picture, land marks, football grounds etc etc ?
If its not shoite and is do-able "Dibbs" on going first in naming venue number 1
If you know you are there or passing you can Dibbs it and await picture proof ?
We all have smart phones with cameras etc "ask jessops" so I'm hoping it will prove eventfull, oh and nothing too obscure like the cairn on top of Ben Nevis.........

Why not have an individual thread for each challenge where users could post specifically i.e here's my D3 next to a naked lady statue ...here's my D4 next to a signpost to Twatt ....Here's my D3 on Mount Kilimanjaro 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thats kind of what we do now ?
I just thought we could all try and maintain a forum wide thread in naming and shaming our Discos next to a "thing" that some one else has selected ?
I was going to try and Involve some kind of Geo-Cache activity but i conjoured up this instead
I can see how it would be dead in the water as it could be a slow and painfull process waiting for a forum member to pass adrians wall or London Bridge Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Maybe I wasn't clear (which isn't unusual )

Yes i was, otherwise we could end up with 50,000 pictures of D3's next to all manner of things, and no pictures of the AOTN

Needs to be one thread, in order to keep it flowing and have a bit of "challenge" to it.
Seen it on other forums, works very well.
Need to stipulate that people only use new photos specially taken for the challenge, not old stock 2014 D4 XS
