| Ordered my new D4- another GS. |

What a return from my GS with bright pack- held it's value absolutely fantastic.
Should get it November- can't wait. Thought for 1 second i might change brand, BMW 530d touring , em -No , it snows in Northumberland. Then there was the Audi A6 Avant- nice but again - No- never find it in a car park with the other 10,000 of them, or A4's not that you can tell.
Why? For all the gremlins and faults this has to be the best all round vehicle in the world and every time I get into them they make me smile! Wonder if the slight up grade on bhp with the 8 speed box makes much difference, guess I will just have to have fun and find out!

Sure u will enjoy the 8 speed box my last one was a GS went for an xs this time the flappy paddles are good fun. Enjoy

When you are in drive do they allow you to select or do you have to be in sport? D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

So, compared with my current D3, where you push the gear stick over for Sport, and then up and down for different gears, how do the flappy paddles work? And how do you get back to normal auto Drive mode again?
Better mug up before D4 arrives in a couple of weeks!

Sport is selected by slightly depressing the rotary shift and selecting S you can use the paddles when ever you want and to go back to auto just hold the up shift for 3 to 4 secs and youre back into drive or sport you will love it as on change down it skips to which ever gear gives u the best response

I pick up the new car on Monday- long old wait. Had a little sneak at the dealers when it had the bubble wrap on- can't wait to get it up to the hunkers in Northumberland mud! Start as you mean to go on I say  D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13

I bet you can't wait, only a few hours to go 
I have a Disco 4 XS on order, looking at April for delivery. I also considered the Audi A6 Avant, so went to visit both dealers with SWMBO. She didn't like the A6, her comment was it just looks like another estate car, but she rally liked the Disco, this is from someone who has no interest in cars. So the deal was done.

The eagle landed Monday 5 pm. The kids pulled the cover off in the show room and off we went into the snow- I am sure the car was chuffed also. The bi xenon lights are brill, got them because when I ordered bright pack for MY12 in August ,because it took 6 months to deliver, they now have to be fitted to a MY 13 as part of the bright pack option--the dealer picked up the cost- well done Newcastle Stratstone D4 3.0 SDV6 GS 13
