4 Wheel Alignment Settings |
|
Just had my Disco 4 aligned by main dealer.
I asked for a copy of the print out and it's set up for the following:
Land Rover - UE
Discovery 4 RHD STD
2009-2011
Mine is a standard UK spec XS - but is actually a 2012 model.
I presume the UE bit is correct?
Are the tolerances for 2009-2011 the same as for a 2012MY?
Many thanks. D4 XS MY12 Galway

UE probably means EU and refers to the region of the manufacturer (LR). 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

That'd be logical!
I think it's the model year discrepancy that concerns me most. I wouldn't think the tolerances are different, but with a new gearbox etc, they just might be - otherwise, why differentiate between 2009-11? Presumably, there must be a 2012-13 setting too?! D4 XS MY12 Galway

The machine used to do the wheel alignment only had software up to 2011.
Their next software update will probably say 2009 to 2012, or 13 maybe.
I had a quick scan on Topix & the data 2011/2012 seems the same.

They're using a Supertracker machine - is that standard?
But, on the basis that the data is the same, seems it should be fine!
Many thanks for taking the trouble to check the data Steve. D4 XS MY12 Galway
