The Disco 4 models fitted with surround cameras also have tow assist which predicts the direction of the trailer when reversing after putting in its specification. However without a trailer it seems to also predict where the car will reverse. The orange-brown lines change their curves when the steering wheel is moved. The standard HSE has steering sensors (as shown on the 4x4 screen) and also the single camera display on which the orange-brown lines are superimposed so does this mean that this module can be turned on in software?
What I liked about the Jaguar XJ that I drove was the ability to turn the steering wheel until the curved lines passed through the gateway on the display and just reverse without any corrections. I was disappointed to find the Disco lines were fixed unless you bought all the fancy cameras.

No ... Surround camera system is digital and the stand alone camera is analog G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
