| WTD: Side step (drivers side) |

The silver trim on my oem side steps recently fell off. I retrieved it and was planning on fixing it back on. Problem is that having now removed the side step, it's clear that the whole step has rusted to the point where I can push my finger through it! The fixing brackets remain sound. So I am looking for a new drivers side step which I can attach to the existing fitting brackets. Does anyone have one knocking around?

The trim is off my passengers side and has been for some time, my steps are in good order apart from that. You can get a set of aftermarket steps for £189.99, you can also buy the trim, I think slimer on here does them.
The problem is when you only need one you have to buy everything in two's.

i have a pair in the shed that i have recently took off to replace with side bars they also have the chrome trims missing but appear sound. i was going to take them to the skips today along with all the other post xmas rubbish but then saw your post so have hung on to them. they are yours if you want them for a donation to the site i live near newark in notts but am going to quattro services just north of selby on wednesday this week if that is of any use to you

I have a genuine drivers side step that I removed from my wife's car after she "damaged" the near side one a few months ago  I checked at the time and you can buy a single new one but even at forum rates they are £200 each  so I bought a new after market set and kept the undamaged offside one
