Heated Windscreen

In the cold weather I have noticed that the heated windscreen only works on a couple of streaks???

Question - why does this happen and can it be fixed ? - I guess this wont be covered under a warranty as they don't cover glass?

Comments?

mine does the same but clears the majority of the screen so havent done anything about it. Dont quote me on this but check your insurance policy first and then maybe look to get it replaced once it develops a crack. But ensure it is a landrover equivalent replacement. Problem solved !
