| Trip Computer - help needed |

A friend of mine just bought a MY2005 D3 and the trip computer does not work properly.
It displays the TRIP in mile (on a Hungarian LHD model) and when the 'i' button is pressed on the end of the indicator stalk, nothing happens, i.e it does not change to RANGE, AVG FUEL, etc. The 'i' button is OK, because on long push it zeros the TRIP, but on short push it does not do anything.
He has IDS v118, and tried various option, but nothing worked.
Any idea what is wrong? Thanks for your help.

what model ? s / se / hse ?
are you trying the "i" button while the car is moving of stopped ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Wiggs, thanks for the prompt reply.
It is an SE (without navigation and low Hi-fi) and the car is stationary (I know that when it is moving it should not work). My car is an S (without navigation and low Hi-fi too), and it works on my car, but does not on my friend's.

could well be switched off in the car config file ...iv seen a few low line ones were it dosent work .
dunno if hes going to be able to access that part of the ccf with his IDS  G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

i ve seen similar before try reprogram cluster as existing module (if the 118 wont allow you do that because of calibration files out of date) try do service interval reset should help

Hello everybody, i have this problem with the trip computer which, and I am totally upset that I can not solve. What we have done:
1. SIR service intervall reset
2 IPC modul programming the existing modul processed
3. Car configuration modified distance unit mileages to kilometers
4. Car configuration session programming the master PCM and IPC master
5. IPC reflash existing modul
Maybe this is good information so that when the program is made, the information symbol is shown on the display, but when the end of the procedure, again not visible.
IDS version the 118.5, original VCM dongle.
The right solution would be to burn??

I was able to change from miles to kilometers LCD indication. It was not easy! AzSDD version v129 helped karbnatrtások distance unit reset function in the menu to function. . But it does not seem to display the information in the signal, and I can not operate the instrument panel menu. A friend of mine who started this topic is also an SE owner, and will 05MY car. She automatic transmission. Mine is manual. What am I doing wrong?
