The led bar I used is this one http://www.scstyling.com/belysning/led-ram...120w-36288. It fitted rather nicely in the slot above the number plate and I just used the supplied fittings and screwed it directly into the plastic bumper with the light bar flush with the painted part of the bumper. Seems to sit stable so far. It is a slimmed, curved version (42 mm high).
I also turned the number plate holder up-side-down (you need to cut away the plastic hook holding it at the bottom) which lowers the position of the number plate so a light bar can be fitted in the upper slot.

may i ask did u wire it into ur main beam circuit please
did notice two plugs behind the headlight , assume though they are for the front bumper sensors and fogs

I didn´t want it in front of the grill as it would be in the way if the grill needs to come off. The light bar is connected via a standard relay and the signal for the relay is coming from the high beam cable in the right hand main plug for the right head light. I have halogens in this car so I was told I didn´t need to bother about it being a canbus vehicle. I have no problems with this and the car does not seem to detect the small current needed to engage the relay.

Hello,
It is a slimmed version so I didn´t expect it to be super but it is actually better than I thought it would be. As I am often driving in the countryside with lots of wildlife I mostly wanted a wide light that lights up the sides of the road. That it does. Length of the light could be better though.

that's also what i would want one for
for the side illumination , mainly for off road use
been looking at these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nighteye-35-180W...2089668103
where they have a combined flood and spot combined into one unit
will have to get a slim line version though

Do you have a picture of your car and the bracket? Maybe even some measurements?
