? Reverse cam brightness issue |
|
Hi all
I've fitted a reverse cam and connected it into the back of the screen and view it through the hidden menu
The picture is great during the day and at night but when I turn the lights on the picture goes all grainy,
I initaly thought its was because it was a cheap camera and the number plate light where blinding it
This Evening i covered up all the lights and still no change to her image
I'm guessing it's the screen in th dash that automatically alerts the screen when the lights are turned on I haven't tried doing the test during the day with the lights on
I'm also guessing that it's something to do with the light sensor on he dash and needing the comfig to be changed and maybe it set to the range rover mode
Edit
I don't think it's the camera as I said it is fine at nite and even better when the brake lights and reverse lights are on ,but if you turn the side lights on that is when the picture goes all washed out
So I'm thinking the screen alters the brightness when the sidelights are on

It's the cheap camera, lux setting won't be as sensitive as the higher priced better quality cams. Mine is the same but for £12 I ain't bothered.
