My fuel burning heater worked fine for a few years... Then for a month or two stopped working. My car is out of warranty so not going to bother getting it fixed.
But, the last week it seems to have kicked in again so i was really pleased, but seemed to run a lot more than normal. But, i thought, I will see how it goes.
Now though, it seems to run all the time with the engine running, take today, have done about 60-70 miles in the D4 this morning and the heater every time i stopped to check this new symptom seemed to be running. full belt. Temperature on computer for engine obviously is spot on in the middle after 60 odd miles and ext temp was 8 degrees! So surely it should not be running. Further more in around 60-70 miles its done a quarter of a tank!  : Surely there is something wrong here! 2023 Ineos Grenadier 3.0 Diesel Commercial

Try pulling the fuse on it, might sort it out, well stop it.
