Red Light on left of Dash Computer Disply |
|
Does anybody have any idea what the red light to the left of the dash computer display is for. My dealership has no idea and the manual makes no mention of it.

Isn't that the pre-heat one? I'll take a look when I get back out to my D3

If you mean the light directly next to the message centre at bottom left... its the Fuel Burning Heater light. Comes on at start up as a check and I think (winter was sooo long ago) lights up when the FBH is active - maybe wrong there though.

It's not it being on when I start the engine, it's it being on when I stop that bothers me. The picture is in the manual but no details.

I was messing about with my pre-cool / pre-heat functions yesterday and guess what, it worked. Exactly as set. Now I have no idea what software version I am running or how to find out but am looking forward to the cold mornings now!!!!

graemen,
How old is your D3?
Did you have the radio on when it worked?
This is IMPORTANT

You're really going to need it now if there's a pre-heater fix available The End
