Front & rear points are fine for snatch recovery, don't loads of times. However it's not without risks.

Do you understand the differences between a snatch recovery an towing?

Do you understand the differences between the different materials and construction in ropes and the physical properties?

Snatch recoveries does test recovery points so ensure recovery points on both vehicles are more then safe.

Consider recovery straps rather then a KERR

Also do not forget that often overlooked bit of recovery gear. A shovel!

yes i know the difference thats why i am asking the question as i know how dangerous the snatch ropes are and the damage they can do if it all goes wrong, i aways carry the shovel, winch and stropes.

Cheers

That's what we were using exclusively in Tunisia, on numerous trips. Enough stretch to add a bit of kinetic pull. Smile
