Knocking front suspension |
|
I have an annoying knock from the front... It's been to my local garage and they found play in the track rod ends and arms, all replaced but the bloody noise is still there! Can't feel any play anywhere else... Could it be the lower arm bushes or ARB bushes even if I can't feel the play on the ramp? The bottom bushes are fluid filled I understand, will I feel if they have failed as I would an old fashioned bush?
By the way it does not seem to be linked to breaking, which makes me think its the ARB bushes not the bottom arms...
Thanks peeps

Hi if as u say u can repeat the noise just by dabbing the foot brake the noise u can hear is the lower arms moving back and hitting the chassis if I were u I would poly bush the Lower Arm both bushes front and rear as will be cheaper and last longer can give a bit more road noise though.
Stick with a good make like poly bush ect as better fit .
Hope this helps
