Fantastic D3
I have just sold this beautiful D3 V8 to my brother. She was the best car I ever owned by a million miles. I am so sad to see her go, but at least she is still in the family. I now have a D4 V8 HSE. The D4 is awesome, but the D3 has a "hard-core look" about it that is unrivaled.

I'm sure you will come to like the new Discovery,
And BFG AT's
I think that's the first D3 I've seen shod with them.
What a cracking tyre !
All the best with your new purchaseOnly dead fish go with the Flow !
The original version of a vehicle is "pure"...the original design concept all joined up
.....then you get facelifts (I consider the D4 as a facelift)
these are driven by the marketing people who reckon to sell the same volume, sell another to a previous customer (or maybe sell more) you have to change things...change for changes sake....its different not any better
I wouldnt mind if the changes improves something that could be better.....
How can:
- painted wheel arches be an improvement on an off road utility vehicle ? (add to that painted bumpers) its BLING
- a dashboard & interior that cant be wiped down...its a working car that houses children & dogs
- rear AC be deleted...its a 7 seat vehicle with more at the back than the front 2 seats....the separate control of the heating & cooling is a must for me. (it was said to be deleted as it interfered with infotainment systems...what a load load of )
My D3 HSE is just awesome & I will be loathe to part with it - just cant see an equivalent...it isnt the current D3.425
I believe the original D£ HSE is a classic car that will sought after by those who can appreciate it.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

The BFG's are 265/60/18.
I didn't have any rubbing issues apart from a minor rub at full lock in reverse.
