Finally happened

Today i eventually became a Discovery 3 owner. Mr. Green

April 05, silver v6 se with black leather.

Very happy with it Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

Lots of toys and gadgets to play with, still reading my way through the handbook.
No wonder its so thick, the car does stuff I didn't even realise Very Happy

Couple of questions, how do i notify(if I have to??) land rover assist that I am the new owner as it was a private sale, although last owner took my td5 discovery as a part exchange.

Also, the car is fitted with the Land Rover black foam type a bar on the front.

Not sure I am too keen on it, think it spoils the look of the car.
Are these easy to remove?? and will it leave any holes in the bumper once it is taken of.

Sure I will think of loads more questions in the next couple of days, once I have explored the car in more detail.

One last think, o/s ball type socket going into rear quarter panel for rear window was hanging on with one thread Confused

glad I took the time to read through this forum before purchasing the car.
A few more weeks and I reckon it would have become detached.

Gordon

I am on the East coast, Fife.

Pity about the holes Crying or Very sad anyone removed an a bar and come up with a decent solution for covering up the holes without it looking crap.

yeh, that was the one.

Spoke to the guy over a week ago, but he wanted min of 25k so decided to relist it on ebay.
Reached 22'100 first time around, second time was 21600.

Phoned me back and he took my td5 in part exchange

Ended up 18k and my td5.

So at 25k, got 7k for mine Sad

still, happy enough with the deal, and my td5 is shifted at the same time.

Got offered a 54 plate se from lr perth, was going to be 19.5 plus my car so deal wasn't to bad

Any ideas about the land rover assist and having to notify them change of owner, or is this not nessesary
