I seriously hope not........... Ive had continuous issues with this cars electrical systems and I have always suspected there is an issue with the power. I did have a duff battery but it was replaced.

Now Im worried as the last 2 times Ive gon on holiday the D3 has failed, Im due to go away thurs and thought Id pre empted the issues by finding and having the slow leaking/damaged tyre replaced today. (even though it was new 1 month ago Rolling Eyes )

Clock re-sets

Me too!

First time I started the vehicle (TDV6 HSE) on 1st January 2007 the clock re-set to 00:00.

Do you think these Landrover computer programmers have build in a new year's message.

Shocked

Hi dylansdad, as simon posted, try checking your main cable connections, both positive and negative.

The fact that you have already had a battery failure and the clock is resetting, all points to a bad connection.

If you have a multi meter, try not only measuring battery positive to earth but also measure battery negative to earth and you may need three hands but try moving the cables as you measure terminating points.

Probably the hardest place to check is where the battery’s negative cable is bolted to the body, up behind the fuse panel.

Cheers.
