HDC Fault- system Not Available!
Can anyone please help?
After having my Disco 3 Valeted & the engine bay jet washed, I now have the following faults.....
1. HDC FAULT SYSTEM NOT AVAILABLE
2. SYSTEM FAULT SPECIAL PROGRAMS NOT AVAILABLE
3. SPECIAL PROGRAMS OFF
I'm sure there all related to the steam clean, but can anyone tell me what it may be or is the management system now screwed?
Any help would be much apreciated
Cheers,
Wayne.

Sounds more like either the battery or brake light switch or brakelight bulbs, but as you have just had the engine bay jet washed i would start with the battery box.

Water in the transfer case ECU. Might not want to jetwash it again, or this may happen:

Hi Mikey,
Thanks for that...That's exactly what's happened, although nowhere near as bad as the photo!
There was water in the plug and socket but no obvious signs of corrosion.
I've taken the case of the ECU apart and there doesn't seem to be any water damage inside. Because of the water on the plug, do you know if this :censored: up the ECU due to short or will a good clean do the job?
Thanks again for your help :D

Normally, its fine once it has dried out. I have not seen one fry an ECU due to water, it has always been rotten terminals.
Good news is if it has fried the ECU, its not hugely expensive. IIRC, its around £140 + VAT, but will need programming to the carMy D3 Build Thread

Thanks for help Mikey......Sadly dispite my best efforts with some electrospray (to dispel the water), wet 'n'dry and a needle file its still :censored: :(
On top of the electrical faults, the suspension is stuck on low and it's in limp mode :?
Looks like I'm forced to make a trip to my local Land Rover dealership! :( :(
