Engine system fault. Error code P062B |
|
Hi, received this today, sitting in traffic, revs went high then ESF. Error code above has been read. I switched off and on and it seems to have gone away. I had error code P0832 last week, could they be related?

Did the revs climb on their own, or were you driving at the time?
If you were driving, then it could be a clutch issue...
I would have expected an injector, or fuel pressure fault to be logged for an ESF issue My D3 Build Thread

Hi, I was at a standstill in traffic when the revs went up, as if I had planted my foot onto the accelerator which I hadn't, then got the bong !

Completely missed that
It sounds as though there is an issue with an injector, or another part of the fuel system.
I have previously seen the injector leak internally, and eventually fills the electrical connector with diesel, and causes an ESF message. Worth a check before delving deeper My D3 Build Thread

Ok thanks, would it be wise to change the oil in it at 65k mileage anyway, or not bother, is it a big job to do ?
