D4 keyless entry fob battery low ? |
|
At work driving a D4 and its just come with a caution, "special key battery low" or words to that effect
Press OK to clear, which i did but its left up an orange triangle with an exclamation mark in it ?
The cars nearly new surely the batterys not flat ?
how does it gain its charge ? i know from the D3 it has an inductor loop round the barrel which it draws current to charge but is there a special place i need to put the key to give it a charge ?
I havent got the manual to hand so i cant check at the moment ?

D4 fobs have replaceable batteries
slide the chrome piece off, remove the key blade, insert it where it shows and twist TLO has left the building.......
