Adjusting the headlamps for driving overseas |
|
Hello all,
Not really new on the forum as I made some posts a couple of years ago, but (very) glad to be with you again
I need help to know which position of the lever corresponds to UK and which one for France, please ?
When removing the headlamps, there is a domed cap on the main lamps (Xenon). When removing this cap, you can find a lever that can be used up or down depending on if you are driving in the UK or overseas. Can someone please tell me if up = UK or up = overseas (eg. France) ?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Eric (Cactus)

Thanks grzesiul,
It is not about the others, it is about me. I am not convinced by the quality of the beam of my D4's headlamps. My D3 had better ones !
May be I moved something the wrong way when I decided to remove and "adjsut" my headlamps ?

According to the manual :
lower position - Lever in the correct position for the market where the vehicle was originally sold.
upper position - Lever in the correct position for whendriving in countries where they drive on the
opposite side of the road.
simples Cheers Ian

And if you use High Beam Assist you need to change that in line with driving on left or right. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
