All depends what your looking for !!! look at the mileage on both examples ,What have they done work wise,or off road etc (yea ones a nice HSE before someone points it out) , What would you rather have?? pay ya money take ya choice If you look around at prices lots of basic high milers going for the £12500 mark Autotrader etc

Been watching D3s on eBay lately, and basic models with average miles are selling at 8k, and anything between 8-10k for average miles S and SEnmodels.
As you said though, you have to start someplace, and best of luck selling My D3 Build Thread

I found that was the case when I sold mine last year - Now I would have taken either this time around. Just happend that a manual came up first. Now an auto has turned up for pennies just 5 miles from where I live...Typical!
Anyway - good luck with your sale. There may be a buyer out there. I'm selling my mini Cooper (note to self...must put it on the furum here) and to date I have had silly questions (the answers to which were in my advert....) and one offer £2.5k UNDER the £7500 asking price!!! written off ones are advertised for more than that!!
I think it is a buyers market for many things right now and you may need a good deal of patience to wait it out for the right buyer to come along... hope it works out for you.

Well who'd have thunk this thread would go this way, eh?
Still wondering why I was "moderated" for suggesting (less blatantly) exactly the same as many unmoderated posts on here
