would the top be likely to melt if i used a son of hibachi on top? what is the top made of?
they do drop a bit of hot ash and throw a lot of heat downwards but it would be handy to have it on top of this

hmm, think your right, I've burnt a wooden table, cracked a marble chopping board and melted a so call heat proof plastic tray! not sure what Alu can offer to cope!!
